I'm a freelance videographer and content creator in the Ribble Valley - after freelancing for a number of years in Manchester, I've recently returned home to pursue a career in digital marketing.
Filmmaking: Worked on multiple film sets as a spark and a lighting assistant, including assistance with rigging and derigging lighting setups, multiple times a day. I’ve also shot film and photography content for several events in a freelance capacity. As a director, I worked closely with the 1st AD to create schedules and perform risk assessments, leading to a smooth shoot and a positive working environment. I’ve directed short films, music videos and promotional campaigns.
Events: I’ve been a part of many different events in multiple capacities, ranging from videography and hospitality work, to setting up lights, sound equipment and décor for the shows themselves. It’s an area of work I’m familiar with.
Editing: Experience editing short-form content ranging from 30-second reels to short films, including sound mixing and colour grading.
Project Management and Communication: As well as liaising across departments as a Director, I’ve self-shot multiple promotional materials for clients, working to deadlines efficiently and ensuring their vision was met across multiple platforms, from concept to the final product.
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams, as well as Final Draft and WordPress/Squarespace.
Social Media: Own a film-centric Instagram, onto which I upload my freelance film and TV work. I have also gained basic knowledge of SEO through my university studies.
