During my time at youngs seafood i worked on the fish batter operative to make sure all the fish are going into the batter machine correctly faced way up. Including on some shifts I would be working on stacking boxes correctly ready for shipping for the orders. Unfortunately i had been let go as my motorcycle had broken down and due to being with agency they just decided to let me go.

Server - The Louth Hotel - Mablethorpe
While working at the Louth Hotel, I was welcomed into a supportive team where I had the opportunity to build on my existing customer service and hospitality skills. My role involved preparing the restaurant for service by clearing and resetting tables to ensure a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for guests. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I provided table service by taking food and drink orders, delivering meals to customers promptly and professionally, and ensuring guests received excellent service throughout their visit.
I was also responsible for clearing tables, collecting used dishes and kitchen pots, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with health and safety guidelines. This role strengthened my communication, teamwork, and organisational skills while teaching me the importance of providing excellent customer service in a busy hospitality environment. I enjoyed interacting with customers, working efficiently under pressure, and contributing to a positive dining experience for every guest.
Car Valeter - NCCC company - Immingham

As a self-employed car valeter, I have developed valuable skills in vehicle cleaning, detailing, and presentation while working independently and maintaining high standards of quality. My responsibilities included thoroughly cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles, paying close attention to detail to ensure every car was presented to an excellent standard. Working in a self-employed role has also strengthened my customer service skills, as I communicated directly with customers, understood their requirements, and ensured they were satisfied with the finished result.
This experience has helped me become more organised, responsible, and motivated while working efficiently and managing my own workload. I am now looking to join an established company where I can continue to develop my skills, work as part of a professional team, and build a long-term career. I am keen to take on new challenges, learn from experienced colleagues, and contribute positively in either a vehicle valeting role or another hands-on position in a different working environment.
KFC Team Member - Soul Foods Group - Cleethorpes

I worked at KFC Cleethorpes for 14 months, where I gained valuable experience working across both the front of house and kitchen. During my time there, I developed strong customer service skills by serving customers, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring every customer received a friendly and efficient service. In the kitchen, I was responsible for preparing food to a high standard, assembling meals accurately, and ensuring orders were completed quickly while maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
I also became confident working on the drive-thru, using the headset system to communicate clearly with customers, taking accurate orders, and learning the menu thoroughly to provide fast and helpful service. A key part of my role was maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This included regularly cleaning the lobby, dining area, and workstations to ensure customers always entered a tidy and hygienic restaurant.

Working with gold leaf was a new work experience, so I was looking forward to gaining trade experience. I gained the knowledge of making mixes, handling heavy items such as slabs and bricks. Learning how to level slabs when putting down correctly and leveling each of them together for pathways. Levelling at gravel and underfloor gobbo. At the end of every working day I would clean down the mixer if used and clean any tools/ area that needed doing.
