Experience in conducting pharmacy audits through involvement in the pharmacy quality scheme (PQS)
Enhanced consultation skills and clinical knowledge developed through advising patients on the appropriate usage and dosage of medication via the new medicine service (NMS) pathway
Motivated in organising and delivering services such as NMS, immunisations and blood pressure checks to meet wider company targets
Experience discussing poly pharmacy prescriptions with patients and helping to safeguard, hoping to build on these skills further to be more active in de-prescribing
Proficient at triaging patients and providing tailored over the counter advice in relation to minor ailments
Contributing to the legal and clinical checking of prescriptions
