I'm Charlotte and I'm originally from France. I graduated from ESCP Business School with a Master's in Finance, after completing my Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance at EDHEC Business School.
I am currently working in Investment Banking within the Acquisition and Leveraged Finance team at Nomura in London. Before that, I gained experience across different areas of finance and corporate finance, including investment banking, private equity, equity research, and wealth management.
On a more personal note, I have always been passionate about sports and competed in handball at a high level in the French Championship with Metz Handball.
I started my career through internships across different areas of finance.
Management in Luxembourg, I conducted market research and prepared investment cases on listed European and U.S. companies. I then joined CIC Market Solutions in Paris, where I supported the Equity Sales team by monitoring European equities, drafting investment notes, and analysing companies’ earnings releases and market developments.
I later moved into private equity in a small cap fund in Paris, where I worked on the evaluation of investment opportunities and participated in the execution of a leveraged buyout in the construction waste recycling sector. My responsibilities included building LBO models, conducting financial and market analysis, preparing investment memorandums, and supporting fundraising initiatives for the firm's second investment vehicle.
Following this experience, I joined Nomura in London as a Summer Analyst within the Acquisition and Leveraged Finance team. I worked on transaction materials and investors Q&A for the refinancing with syndicated debt of an ESG advisory firm as well as drafted refinancing, repricing and dividend recap pitch materials for clients.
I subsequently returned to Nomura as a full-time Investment Banking Analyst, where I advise private equity sponsors and corporate clients on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, refinancings, and debt financing solutions. My role includes building and analysing financing structures, conducting detailed credit analysis, preparing investment committee materials, managing investor due diligence questions and drafting syndication materials.
I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Corporate Finance at EDHEC Business School in Lille. During my studies, I spent a semester abroad at Dublin City University in Ireland as part of an academic exchange program.
I then pursued a Master's in Finance, specializing in Investment Banking, at ESCP Business School, studying across its Paris and London campuses.
