I am in my second year of my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Manchester. Throughout my time at secondary school and college, I participated in multiple leadership groups and events. I was the Chair of the Sports Council in which I organised different sporting events and their particular budgets.
At college, I was a tutor representative where I would voice ideas and opinions from my peers to the Head Principle. Currently, I am the Social and Events Secretary for the UOM Women’s Rugby Union Club. I have to organise weekly socials and also large events including the Leaver’s Ball and Rugby Tour.
All these roles show that I am a capable and successful leader who is both organised and committed. From previous employment, I have gained the appropriate skills in retail, waitressing and customer service. I am an efficient worker and can successfully complete any job that I am given.
Previously, I worked at the King’s Garden Centre where I worked efficiently both in the tills and in the restaurant. I also received and handled any new stock that came in on the shop floor. I always helped customers with any queries or problems they had, keeping any customer happy and content.
I received AAAB in Geography, Psychology, Sociology and PE at A-Level. Now, I am studying Criminology at the University of Manchester.
