Housing Associate
I am a compassionate and resilient professional with over five years' experience in healthcare and one year as a Housing Associate, bringing a strong understanding of safeguarding, crisis support, and client advocacy. I have developed the ability to respond calmly and effectively to individuals in distress, including handling sensitive cases involving domestic abuse. Alongside my professional experience, I bring valuable lived insight into domestic abuse, which enhances my empathy, awareness, and commitment to supporting survivors with dignity and respect.
I am passionate about empowering individuals, promoting safety, and working collaboratively with services to achieve positive outcomes for those affected by domestic abuse. Working within hospitals and care homes has given me a deep appreciation for teamwork, reliability, and compassion — qualities I bring to every role I take on. I have learned to handle challenging situations calmly, provide support to others, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
These experiences have shaped me into a confident and adaptable team member who values clear communication and a positive attitude. I am now looking to begin a new chapter in my career within domestic abuse advisory, where I can apply my interpersonal strengths, enthusiasm, and drive to achieve results. I'm excited by the opportunity to work in an environment that values relationship-building, growth, and success, and I'm eager to contribute to a team that shares those goals while continuing to develop my professional skills and career path.
