I am currently a Care Assistant and have also worked as a school manager and a school teacher with over 10 years of experience in healthcare and education industry,
possessing a strong interest in healthcare and seeking a long-term role in healthcare to support and take care of people from different age groups, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds while remaining committed to the acquisition of relevant knowledge and skills for the attainment of professional excellence in supporting and caring for people.
My previous experience as a caregiver and a school teacher has honed my skills to become an effective verbal communicator with excellent communication skills. I am keen to make a real difference to the people around me.
Personal Care: I assist the service user with personal hygiene, dressing, and other personal care needs.
● Daily Living: I support them with tasks like meal preparation, shopping, and housework.
● Social Engagement: I encourage and facilitate social activities and outings.
● Emotional support: I provide emotional support and companionship.
● Communication: I have good communication skills, so I communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals.
● Record Keeping: I studied computer science and IT, I am very good at keeping records both manual and digital documentation, i make sure to maintain accurate records of care and support provided.
● Safety: I ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals i support.
