Experience

Fryer and Server - Pauls Chippy

(2024-01 - 2026-06)

Following initial refresher training which lasted a week I became both a fryer and a server. This was made up of cooking of all foods supplied and both serving customers in person and via the telephone. I also prepared food to order via the relevant food hubs for delivery to customers. Responsible for cleaning of all equipment and the interior of the premises to a high standard working as part of a small team. Unfortunately the premises closed in June 2026.

Senior Sales Assistant - Leekes

I worked in home textiles and my confidence and abilities grew in this new role. I loved serving customers and being able to make them happy with the products they bought. I loved working in retail and always have.

My job included taking charge of my department on the home textiles department, while working for Bedeck I became the Senior salesperson of the concession for Bedeck. This included making sure our sales were hitting target each week and sorting stock out and any new products we had in.

Following 2 months training shadowing another colleague I began working autonomously. I received training in all levels of customer service and enjoyed training amongst all levels of staff. I am a quick learner and was offered the opportunity to travel to our store in Gloucestershire where I worked full time over 3 days' mid-week and was given the responsibility of key holder for the premises having to open up and secure the unit at the end of trading each day.
