studied sports and exercise therapy at Leeds Beckett university and graduated in 2021!

Since then I’ve been working for Hull Kingston rovers as their first team sports therapist as well as doing private work in my own clinic.

Working as a sports and exercise therapist for a rugby team involves managing the physical well-being of players through injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. The role includes conducting pre-game assessments, providing immediate treatment for injuries during matches or training, and developing tailored recovery plans. Therapists also work closely with coaching staff to monitor players’ fitness levels and ensure they are performing optimally.

Preventative care, such as stretching routines and strengthening exercises, is a key part of the role to minimize the risk of injuries.

In 2021 I finished at Leeds Beckett university and since then I’ve been on courses and taken part in CPD to develop my self further!

from In person courses to online CPD as a club we also do a monthly CPD with our MDT so continue to develop as a team.
