I am currently a cleaner with clean team Plymouth this is a very physical job hands on job, we provide cleans for domestic cleans, communal builds and emergency accommodation for the government this means I have a good eye for attention for detail making sure everything is perfect so the customers are happy and not finishing a clean until it would be somewhere id be satisfied with being my own home!

Reception - Plymouth Life Centre - Plymouth

I was part time on reception at the life centre om top of my cleaning job so am able to balance multiple tasks and job roles. This included answering phones, being able to communicate with customers, booking them in for classes and being able to retain information givimg appropriate answers to the public about the facilities.

Hair stylist - Arena Creative Hair

I was a creative stylist at arena creative hair and have been doing hairdressing for 7 years. Described as a dedicated, hard-working, and loyal individual I have already established a good working ethic through my work at a salon. I have great communication skills which can be transferred into any employment setting.

My warm and approachable nature enables me to work as part of a team as well as independently. This role makes me very creative and able to work a fast pace environment what may need solutions to problems quickly.

Project Coordinator - The Zone

I have worked in partnership with this local youth service to plan and deliver a charity fundraising Music show. Along with my peers we coordinated the marketing, budgeting and logistics for the event which involved a great deal of commitment, teamwork and communication. As a result we delivered a well attended and successful show which generated essential funds for a local children's charity.

Classroom Assistant - Sir John Hunt Community Sports College

Around my studies I worked as a classroom assistant within our Music Department supporting the younger year groups within the school. My time was spent helping with the preparation and delivery of interactive and engaging activities. This would involve preparing materials that would match the children's learning ability and fit within the scheme of learning.

Zoo Keeper Assistant - Dartmoor Zoo

During my work placement I supported zoo keepers with the care of the many animals within the zoo. This involved preparing food, cleaning, feeding and helping with the general upkeep to ensure that visitors enjoyed their visit. This was my first insight into the world of work and gave me a good idea about the industry as well as valuable employability skills.
