• Manage a caseload of pre-liability personal injury claims from initial instruction through to liability being established.
• Conduct comprehensive client onboarding by taking instructions from referrals and direct enquiries, obtaining relevant information and ensuring compliance with client care procedures.
• Carry out initial case investigations, including insurance checks, previous claims history and liability assessments. Including reviewing supporting evidence such as vehicle damage photographs, accident scenes and client IDs to facilitate claim progression.
• Submit claims to third party insurers through to appropriate channels, including the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal where applicable.
• Prepare and submit claims to the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) for uninsured or untraced drivers, ensuring accurate documentation before transferring matters to specialist teams.
• Register eligible claims involving vulnerable road users, including children, pedestrians and cyclists, through the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) portal, maintaining conduct of the file until liability is determined.
• Liaise regularly with clients, insurers and third parties to obtain and provide updates, resolve queries and progress claims efficiently. Consistently receiving excellent feedback for professionalism, empathy and clear communication.
• Prepare comprehensive internal handover notes and transfer files to the appropriate litigation or settlement teams once liability has been established.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing office post, ensuring correspondence is accurately distributed, prepared and dispatched to courts, clients and third parties.
