Chloe Van-Bellen

I am a 16-year-old student currently attending Barnsley College and am a caring, friendly and hardworking individual who enjoys working with other people. My long-term goal is to become a trauma-focused therapist and am someone who is interested in Health and Social Care and in understanding and supporting people who have experienced difficult situations. I hope to continue developing my communication skills and gain more experience whilst working with others.

teaching assistant - dance school

I have been a teaching assistant at my dance school for the past 2 years and this has helped me become more confident in myself, proud and responsible. I help with the classes for children aged 2-11 wanting to learn ballet, tap, modern and gymnastics as well as support them when they are learning and practising new skills. I enjoy working with each and every one of them and have earnt their trust.

This role has helped me become more confident when communicating with different ages and has taught me to be patient with others. I also help the teachers with different tasks such as handing things out when needed and work well as part of the team.

I have also helped both my aunt and grandad with their business by helping them out with jobs when needed. This has helped me develop my organisation skills and has taught me how important it is to be responsible and complete tasks properly.
