Senior QA Engineer, ON 09/2021 - 11/2022 (1 year 3 months)

I was the Senior QA Engineer who was asked to establish the QA department from the ground up. Subsequently, I became the QA line manager where I managed a team of five. My role included allocating tasks to the projects that required QA, and managing the team on a daily basis.

I contributed to testing websites for clients that the company created using various testing techniques.

My primary project was working on a mobile app for a large clothing rental company where I served as the main QA Engineer. This involved testing the app on IOS/Android, liaising with the development team regarding any identified issues/problems, and informing the company that the app was ready to be submitted to Apple and Google for release on their respective app stores.

TestRail was used to write the test cases for the projects and BrowerStack was used for testing mobile devices.

QA Engineer, Amelco 06/2019 - 09/2020 (1 year 4 months)

Amelco create electronic sportsbooks for clients. The sportsbooks allow people to place bets on available sporting events.

My role as QA Engineer was to test the sportsbooks to make sure that they are fully functional and ready to go live into production. This was achieved by running a full regression test to make sure they were ready to go live.

The sportsbooks were tested on desktop and mobile devices. The mobile testing was done using BrowerStack.

All testing was done manually and any issues found were logged using Jira. When an issue was fixed by the developer the issue was ready for testing.

QA Engineer, Becrypt 04/2008 - 11/2017 (9 years 8 months)

Becrypt write a series of cyber security products ranging from disk encryption to secure Linux desktops.

As a QA Engineer I performed the following duties:

Wrote test plans and test scripts for projects and reported any issues found using Jira.

Investigated any issue that had been raised by clients and reporting the status back to the

Help desk.

Responsible for testing the company's products.

I was team leader on the company's main project. As team leader I kept the project manager and project owner up to date with the status of the testing and also with the estimation of when the product was ready for release.
