I am a passionate and experienced Data Analytics Specialist with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL and Tableau Desktop among others.
From my experience in working for Nationwide, Dyson and BT I have been able to develop and utilise my skills in Google Cloud, SQL, Python, Tableau, Qlik, and Excel. This has led me to be a confident Data Analyst that can use a variety of tools depending on the demand of the task. My skills set across the variety of these tools has led to mentoring opportunities as well as being subject expert within my team to aid others in developing their confidence in using these software.
I am well equipped to work to a quick paced environment and have often completed tasks for stakeholders quickly and efficiently, being praised for my communication in doing this. In particular, stake holders have shared that I am able to turn complex and technical language into easy to relate and understand language within my presentations, making it easier to gauge need and next steps. I enjoy collaborating and working within a team as well as presenting my work and ideas to stakeholders, senior management and within my team.
I have led team training presentation meetings as well as leading, organising and managing others from my teams and other departments to complete tasks.
I have also mentored graduates who are interested in developing their coding and data analytics skills which I found really rewarding and enjoyed watching their confidence grow in their specialist areas.
I have been praised for streamlining processes and adding automation to my reports, meaning that they are efficient and up to date.
I am proactive in undertaking regular training and professional development opportunities to ensure my skill set meets the demands required. This has been both through company opportunities and personal development in my own time.
