Reporting to the IT Director of the largest UK owned IT services company. Responsible for 65 staff covering service delivery, voice and data network, AS400 operations and technical support, PC support, with an operating budget of £4.5million.

• Established the computer services department to include job descriptions, organisation structure, salary bands, training and development plans, management reporting.
• Implementation of departmental procedures.
• Implementation of work-tracker methodologies.
• Implementation of SLA's.
• One of the first AS400 sites to migrate from CISC to RISC technology.
• Managed the migration from RS6000 to AS400.
• Following an overnight break-in, IBM and Computacenter expertise was combined to ensure that full service was resumed before the start of the next working day with no disruption to the business.
