Compassionate Student Midwife at Middlesex University with strong experience supporting individuals in care-focused environments. Skilled in patient communication, safeguarding, and maintaining safe and supportive settings for vulnerable individuals.
Through clinical training and leadership roles in childcare settings, I have developed strong observational skills, empathy, and the ability to work calmly in fast-paced environments. Seeking a Healthcare Assistant role.
I am a first-year Student Midwife with clinical training in patient care, including monitoring vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respirations), venepuncture training, urinalysis testing, cardiotocography (CTG), and Basic Life Support. Through this training I have developed strong observational skills, infection prevention awareness, and the ability to recognise and escalate abnormal findings.
Alongside my studies, I have worked in care-focused roles supporting the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, which strengthened my communication, empathy, and teamwork. I am motivated to contribute these skills within a Healthcare Assistant role in the National Health Service.
I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Midwifery, where I am developing core clinical knowledge and practical skills in patient care within hospital settings. My training includes monitoring and recording vital signs, Basic Life Support awareness, venepuncture training, urinalysis testing, and cardiotocography (CTG). Through this programme I have also developed knowledge of infection prevention, safeguarding, and effective communication within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Prior to this, I completed A Levels in Health and Social Care, Criminology, and an EPQ, which provided a strong foundation in health, wellbeing, and social care practice.
