• A two-month paid internship involving full-time work as a member of the Biochemical Laboratory staff.
• Performed diagnostic tests, such as routinely measured biochemical markers and less routinely measured hormones.
• Participated in manual preparation of the samples, operation of automated analysers (routine Quality Controls and patient samples analysis), interpretation of the results and release of these to the patients.

General Hospital of Athens Hippocrates, Greece 25-1-2022 to 22-2-2022

• A one-month training focusing on “Blood Collection-Complications and Anticoagulants” organized by the University of West Attica. 
• This programme included practical hours at the hospital and theoretical hours on blood, blood collection and anticoagulants.
• Served as a full-time phlebotomist in the cardiovascular department primarily focusing on elderly patients with hardly detected vessels.
