CSCS Labourer at Self Employed (2026-05 – Present)

I gained my cscs card at the beginning of June. I am currently subcontracting to a construction company. My main role is preparing the site in the morning making sure all materials are set out where they needed to be, all tools that are needed are ready and safe to use. Mixing up any mortar that is needed. In this role I have all gained knowledge brick laying. I have just recent complete a full landscaping job involving digging footings,retaining walls, slab laying and leveling ground.

Site Supervisor at NCR Drop Kerb Ltd (2024-05 – 2026-05)

• Overseeing all the work being carried out and managing any issues that we came across.
• Managing the crew onsite making sure everyone knows what they need to be doing and what materials are need to carry out the job in hand.
• Making sure all equipment we need to start a job is loaded on the the vehicles we need, making sure all fluids are at correct levels and have any spares we need incase of any issues.
• Breaking up old tarmac and kerbs to be replaced with new kerbs making sure they are installed at correct hight and the correct width that the permit states the resurfacing with fresh tarmac.
• Making sure vehicles checks are carried out on the truck I will be driving for that day.
• Correctly disposing of waste materials using waste transfer notes, making use each load isn't contaminated by other materials i.e hardcore isn't mixed up with soil/mud.
• Within this job i have gained experience in constructing drop kerbs, tarmac driveways, gravel driveways, block paved driveways, footpaths and lots of experience in slab laying. all work complete to Gloucestershire Highways standard

Class 2 HGV Driver at Smith's (Gloucester)a (2021-08 – 2024-05)

In this job I was responsible for delivering, exchanging and removing skips of all sizes on time or contacting the customer to arrange times that suited the customer. Working in the same lorry everyday I was responsible for daily checks on the vehicle reporting any defects and making sure the lorry was road worthy. In this job I gained very indepth knowledge of work time directive and eu driving laws.

HGV DRIVER/GROUND WORKER/TARMAC OPERATIVE at Ncr Drop Kerb LTD (2019-03 – 2021-08)

Whilst being with NCR Drop Kerb LTD I was put through my HGV medical,theory test and hazard perception test once passing then I was then put through my DVSA driving test of which I passed on the 23rd of august 2019. Although being tacho exempt i also got myself a digital tachograph card which i use everyday to make sure i had the knowledge and experience of using the card and the tacho unit itself. The only part I do not have is a cpc card.

MOBILE TYRE FITTER at ATS Euromaster (2018-09 – 2019-02)

• Changing Tyers on commercial trucks, Fleet vans and privately owned vehicles, this also included call outs during the night.
• Fleet checks on commercial sites i.e Dpd, SMH Fleet Solutions and SHB Hire.
• Van maintenance: mankind sure van was road worthy, Clean and tidy and also restocked with any spare parts i would carry i.e valves, puncture repair patched.
• Taking deliveries of tyres and checking all relevant paperwork was completed and passed on to management.

I was asked to move to dot.com delivery, based on customer reviews/feedback and passing the driving ability test, as Time Management is a key element of this role.

• Van maintenance: H&S checks prior to loading; ensuring vans are road legal (including weight management, checking tyres etc) and represent a good image for Tesco
