About

I am a 17-year-old male who aspires to work in the sports industry, sport is my passion. My aim is to secure employment and whilst the financial aspect is an obvious benefit, my main motivation is to gain some practical experience working in this area and build on this in the future. I am extremely motivated to learn and am interested in all aspects of working in this area. I am hardworking, punctual and honest, I believe I will be an asset to any organisation.

Kids Football Camp Volunteer - Aquinas FC

This was a good experience for me as it made me come to see speaking out regardless of what age they are isn't as hard as it first seems. This boosted my confidence massively. So, this made it easier and easier explaining drills as we went on throughout the week. Also, if I was explaining a drill and someone was speaking, I had the authority to take control of the situation. I am also in the process of receiving my IFA coaching badge and this experience assisted with that.

Babysitting - None

Babysitting granted me with a lot of skills I didn't know I could have before. For example, I had to entertain the kids, but I had to give every kid equal care and attention. I also had to be very patient if a child was upset and try comfort them instead of becoming overwhelmed and not knowing what to do. This experience made me realise that it's not as hard as I first thought to look after children by myself

Carpentry Volunteer - Chestnut Joinery Ltd

This experience made me learn how to use practical tools e.g. hammer, drill, paint and how to take measurements.
