Claire Gent

I’m a mature student at the university of Lincoln. Studying adult nursing on my first year. I hold a foundation degree in professional healthcare studies. Previously I worked 15 years for the charity St John Ambulance. My children have grown up. I enjoy family time, travel and the cinema. Also I have and interest in arts and crafts and preparing home made food.

Trainer and Assessor for St John Ambulance (16 years). Workplace experience from placements on my foundation degree (2 years). This was in a nursing home, hospital and community nursing. I an currently conducting my first placement on a hospital ward as part of my nursing degree.

Foundation degree in professional healthcare studies at the Grimsby institute.

Currently I am a first year student nurse working towards my degree at the university of Lincoln.
