I am a HPC Applications Consultant with expert knowledge of Fortran and almost 40 years experience working on HPC platforms from most of the major vendors including HPE/Cray, IBM, NEC and Fujitsu. I have run on both x86 and ARM CPUs plus Nvidia GPUs. I also have knowledge of C++ and Python. I am experienced in massively paralleled software using MPI and OpenMP.
My specialism is in meteorological and oceanographic models such as WRF, the Unified Model, MOM, NEMO and Aladin including coupling using OASIS-MCT but I also have experience in running many of the other applications commonly run on HPC systems such as GSI, Gromacs, LAMMPS, OpenFoam, HPL, HPCG, BWA, Diamond and HipMer.
I am also experienced in the administration and troubleshooting of DDN SFA appliances and Exascaler (lustre) file systems.
