About

I am a hardworking, reliable, and motivated young person who has successfully completed a Level 1 Plumbing qualification at New College Durham. I have maintained excellent attendance throughout my studies. In addition to my plumbing studies, I took the opportunity to retake my GCSE English and Maths examinations, which I completed in November.

Due to my commitment and progress, I have been accepted onto the Level 2 Plumbing course for the next academic year. Throughout my studies, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to both practical and theoretical learning, developing valuable skills and knowledge within the construction industry. I have a keen interest in practical work and enjoy developing my skills in construction, maintenance, and trade-related environments.

During the summer holidays, I gained employment as a painter and also assisted tradespeople with kitchen fitting projects. Through these opportunities, I have gained valuable hands-on experience and a better understanding of workplace expectations. These experiences have confirmed my ambition to pursue a career within the construction industry.

The experience I have gained has helped me develop strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks to a high standard. I am able to work effectively as part of a team and can demonstrate initiative and work independently when required. I manage my time well, work effectively within deadlines, and am always willing to learn new skills and take on new challenges.

Alongside developing my trade skills, I am currently undertaking driving lessons and am preparing to take my driving test. I am eager to continue building my experience, further develop my practical skills, and secure employment where I can contribute positively while progressing towards a successful career in the construction sector.
