Colin McKibben

Having been a Despatch officer in a IT forward thinking company I find it important to keep focused on the job in hand, ever being mindful of the situation bringing the right solution. Being a parttime (Mainly weekends) lead pastor of a thriving local church in Neath which is providing me with continual opportunity to connect and build relationships with the community and have seen its congregation grow over the last few years. It was during this time that I became aware of the need in the community in relation to housing & homelessness.

I am now actively looking to invest my time and skillsets towards a new organisation vision and direction. I believe my strongest skillsets include people management, communication and listening. I am an upbeat and optimistic person who will always strive to add value to the team and organisation I am a part of.

I have enrolled on the Level 2 of Chartered Instituteof housing practice to invest my time and skillsets towards becoming part of that support network.

Recent Update: I am volunteering with Housing Crisis Cymru with in the Citadel project.

• Using root cause analysis to identify opportunities and articulate that data across stakeholders of all levels
• Confident in dealing with challenging situations and conflict resolution
