I am 16 years old looking for part time work. I am available for weekday evenings (to fit around sixth form hours) and weekends. I would consider myself hard working and willing to learn on the job with a positive attitude. I am a very friendly and polite person, which I feel are important qualities when working with other staff members and customers.

Fast Food Crew Member - Dia la pizzeria - Swadlincote, Derbyshire

My first job was at Dia la pizzeria working as a crew member. I only worked here for a short period of time as I left to concentrate on studying for my GCSEs. Whilst working here I showed that I had good time management, it developed my organisational skills, and my ability to work under pressure. It also improved my communication skills with customers, which I would use in future jobs now that I have the experience.

• Worked within variety of kitchen stations, including food prep, cooking and dishwashing.
• Prepared ingredients for fast food meals, carrying out tasks such as chopping, peeling and washing.
• Kept food preparation areas clean and sanitary through regular deep cleans.
• Employed multitasking skills to switch between various activities and cope with high demand.

Year 10 Work Experience - Classroom Assistant - Church Gresley infant school - Swadlincote, Derbyshire

for my year 10 work experience I attended the Church Gresley infant school, working as a classroom assistant. During my week here I leant valuable skills such as teamwork, patience, organisation, and communication which I believe will help me in the workplace.

• Provided one-to-one support to pupils requiring additional help, enhancing their learning outcomes.
• Maintained student safety inside and outside classrooms in line with school safeguarding policies.
• Established positive relationships with the children, leading by example and responding appropriately to classroom needs.
• Assisted in the creation and maintenance of a safe classroom environment, minimising risks and hazards.
• Supporting the Teachers and Teaching assistants with any tasks they needed help with.
