Work Experience at New-U (2026)

5 weeks work experience

• Stock Control – sorting out donations, assessing their respective quality, steaming the garments and pricing them appropriately
• Customer Service – greeted customers at the front desk and worked with a Square point of Sale till for transactions
• Visual Merchandising – helped make sure clothes were presentable before going out onto the shop floor, worked with staff to maintain the visual merchandising of New-U
• Event preparation – supported the events by selecting stock, pricing and steaming the items for the £1 sale
• Data Entry – helped enrol new customers onto the digital points scheme, entering customers details onto the database and recorded their loyalty points
