Biomedical Science student currently in third year of study with a thorough understanding of the strong work ethic required to be successful in a clear competitive field, expressing an unwavering tenacious mentality and competitive drive to succeed. My recent admission to pursue postgraduate medicine (2024 entry) at the University of Chester reflects the embodiment of these aforementioned qualities. This accomplishment underscores my adeptness in interpersonal skills, which are essential not only for excelling in interviews but also for a thriving medical career thereafter.
Professional experience of mine is varied, with ample warehouse work experience and job roles in customer service as outlined in my CV, the latter of which is most notable in my work as an ambassador with the University of Hull. Extensive medicine-related work experience has been completed also, to ensure I am well prepared to study Postgraduate Medicine at the University of Chester.
Predicted to graduate with a 1st class degree with honours from the University of Hull, studying Biomedical Sciences.
Modules included cell structure and function, microbiology and immunology, professional/research skills for biomedical scientists, biochemistry, and human physiology, each of which studied in depth the foundational elements of our course whilst providing ample opportunity to widen the scope of our research via multiple monitored practical sessions throughout the year. This allowed for us to independently validate our results and interpret them in our own work.
