I started working at Avara in July 2024 on a fixed term contract as a Hatchery Operative. At the hatchery my duties are ensuring chicks are sorted into the required grades and quantities ready for farm delivery, assisting in the effective movement of eggs from storage to incubating machines and then to hatching machines, cleaning all equipment after use to the required high standards, safeguarding bio security and following these strict procedures and observing bird welfare and health and safety on site at all times.

At The Wheatsheaf I helped oversee a team for all food and drink related services, including shift management, stock control, and training. I promoted high levels of customer service by proactively checking seating availability, time to delivery, quality of service, and if needed problem resolution. I arranged and coordinated performers for their first beer festival, making sure all relevant equipment is arranged for each set and arranged the advertisement for the event.

The Barford Inn is a small country pub with rooms. While I worked here, I served guests food and drink as well as checking in guests staying in the rooms. We had monthly quizzes, theme nights and some live music, all of which I helped with.

I worked in a large team in the restaurant where the duties were providing service to all guests including large parties. This ranged from taking food and drinks orders, running food and drinks to the correct tables, setting up the restaurant at the beginning of the day and cleaning down at the end of the day.

I started working at The Bell as a Team Member but got promoted to Front of House Manager in June 2022. Before the promotion I would serve guests at the bar and in the restaurant. After my duties extended to include arranging the monthly accounts to be sent the accountant, arranging repairs with contractors, booking in private functions, creating new menus with the head chef, ordering and putting away all stock and cleaning the beer lines.
Bar Team Member The Wellington Arms, Stonegate | Marlborough
November 2021 - March 2022
I worked in a small team where we would cook pizzas and pies behind the bar, we made a variety of cocktails and provided a large selection of draught and bottled drinks. I would always ensure I served all food and drink to a high standard and ensured that all customer and staff areas were kept clean while following COVID 19 protocols.

The Barge Inn is a busy canal-side pub that has rooms and live entertainment. Some of the duties at The Barge were ensuring all customers were served quickly to a high standard, keeping a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the business and helping at events such as weddings and music events, including festivals. While working here I was taught how to clean the lines using the correct chemicals safely, when I took over the weekly line cleans this also meant I oversaw ordering the beers, ensuring we rotated the stock correctly ensuring nothing went out of date and keeping the cellar clean.

While I worked for Daniel Bond LTD, I would be working both independently and in a team. My duties were making sure all customers homes were left clean and as we found them, ensuring all the prep work was done to a high standard and making sure all any other trades on site were aware of where we were working and any work that may need doing prior to our work.

March 2015 – June 2019
A small family run garage where I aided customers with booking in their vehicles, quoting work to their vehicles and providing invoices. I also aided with the sales vehicles, from buying them, to arranging preparation work for the sale. On the workshop floor I would help the mechanics with whatever was needed as well as making sure they had all the parts they needed for each vehicle.
