Leading the creative development of the entire design process for Jaded Man. Since joining, I have successfully rebranded an already established brand into a recognised fashion label, targeting a new customer whilst massively increasing sales. In just over a year, the new direction has upped the website’s top 10 best sellers over 500% while the company’s Instagram followers have grown from 7,000 to a quarter of a million. The backbone of this is a strong trend direction and a desirable product that influencers want to promote, leading to higher sales.
Jaded Man has generated such hype since the relaunch that is regularly featured on various fashion platforms such as Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, GQ, PAQ and Pause magazine as well as various fashion recognised Instagram accounts. The product is so reactive that artists such as Billy Eilish, Young Thug, Octavian and multiple NBA basketball players have been captured wearing Jaded Man pieces. This has built the brand’s position within its current stockists and buyers who are now placing 4 times the quantity on new rangers (>£1m).
In 2019, I created the new sub-brand ‘Neutrals’, under the Jaded label which is a premium unisex jersey product focused on the senses. Following two years of successful sales, I rebranded Neutrals in 2022 for its 4th drop and now has its own Instagram handle. Neutrals has created great traction to the site across menswear as well as womenswear since launching. Due to this, the newly created sub-brand has managed to collaborate with Malin + Goetz on a personalised Deodorant balm to go with the range.
Finally, I have also directed hugely successful collections with Instagrammers such as Gallucks (359K followers) in 2019 and Curly Fry (238k followers) in 2020 which was Jaded’s biggest collaboration to date, generating gross sales of £798K (14,947 total units sold and 654,907 customers’ website page views). Another strong collaboration was with Warner Bros in 2021 on a collection for the prelaunch of the new Matrix film. The gross sales generated by this collabortion was £601K (12,037 total units sold). For each of those collections, not only have I curated , managed, sourced, designed and developed the ranges whilst sticking to launch dates but I have also designed new branding for each range (incl. swing tags, labels, packaging, e-commerce bags/boxes) so that every collection is fully rounded and has its own identity.
