I am a qualified hairdresser, level 2 & 3. I have a keen interest and passion for education and teaching. Throughout my career, I've taken advanced courses to strengthen my hands-on skills and deepen my theoretical knowledge.
As well as gaining insight into how hairdressing and styling are approached in other sectors, such as Film and Television. Before launching my own business as a self-employed mobile hairdresser, I worked as an advanced stylist on a very busy, highly demanding shop floor. I thrived in this environment and worked hard to build the career I have now.
During my time at the salon, I helped my salon manager train the salon's apprentices for their NVQs by delivering training evenings and training manuals I created that specifically targeted the theory requirements of their NVQ qualifications. The apprentices found this material invaluable and went on to pass the majority of their written exams on their first attempt.
