Crystal Williams

I am currently a business management student at the University of Newcastle. Outside of studying, I enjoy reading and cooking.

My previous work experience entails 3 years working as a waitress, food and drinks runner and in back of house in a high-end resteraunt.

This job elevated my confidence and my ability to base my communication style around different customers.

I have 3 years experience from 2021 to 2024 working in the same resteraunt in Leeds (Angelica and Crafthouse, DandDLondon), where I was mainly a waitress. My job included recalling any and all information about the menus and the business and professionally handling any issues that may arise.

I efficiently communicated between the guests, kitchen and managers while running the food and drinks.

Origionally I was a member of back of house, where I polished plates, cutlery and glasses, and made any hot drinks ordered. This helped me manage my time and focus on more important tasks first.

I currently study business management at the University of Newcastle, and I did so in college (Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College) and in gcses. From these years I learnt customer service is highly important, which is what this job is about.
