The best ads aren’t really ads at all.
I’m a Creative Director & Copywriter. During my time at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and TBWA Worldwide I led innovative integrated, digital, earned media, social content, PR and advertising campaigns for global brands like Amazon, BMW, Gatorade, Google and Heinz (to name a few).
I’m big on excellent craft and big ideas. I love merging traditional creative storytelling with digital innovation, emerging trends and new technologies to make businesses and brands relevant to real people.
My advertising work has been recognised by Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, The Webby Awards (of which I am a judge/jury member), Spikes Asia, Caples, London International Awards and AWARD Awards, amongst others.
Beyond ads, my published writing by Routledge Press explores Tolkien mythology, new media, narrative theory and digital interactivity. Parallel to my creative advertising career, I’ve trained in Japanese Martial Arts for over 20 years, instilling me with a discipline and perspective that I bring to all my professional endeavours.
