In the summer of 2016, I was fortunate enough to visit Cambodia where I participated in some voluntary work at Grace House Charity which provides sustainability through education for underprivileged children. I helped with coaching the charity’s football team for 2 weeks and it was an eye opening experience which taught me a great deal. I learnt how to communicate with people who did not speak the same language as myself and it was humbling to see how football unites people regardless of their privileges.
I have an active interest in computer gaming and science. I have a thirst for knowledge and have a keen interest in current affairs. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new dishes. I always like to be well presented.
I have mainly been in customer facing roles which has led me to increase my customer service skills as a whole, and especially the soft skills which are needed to empathise with a customer, and it has allowed me to learn how to de-escalate situations where a customer is unhappy.
