Over 9 years experience in FTTX Planning with a comprehensive knowledge of civils & cabling within the telecommunications arena, I am proficient in the use of all Microsoft office as well as extensive use of the GIS system- GCOMMS.

I am able to work independently by managing my own workflow as well as communicating effectively with people across multiple locations and at different levels to successfully complete planning projects.

I have had extensive training to become an experienced FTTX Planner working mainly on New Build developments for our main contractors: Virgin Media, City Fibre & Nexflow.

My main roles & responsibilities are as follows:

• Scheduling and prioritisation of Civils and Cable planning work activities, including quality checking job packs to support the working operations for Virgin media planning department.
• Ensuring accurate completion of all planned work within a timely manner.
• Attending client and internal calls/meetings as well as site meetings and surveys as required.
• Working on sites across the UK, dealing with people in multiple locations and adhering to local bye laws within planning specs.
• Producing site specific RAMS/complete Packs for cable/civils works.
• Flexible approach in dealing with amendments to planned information.
• Liasing with clients/any third parties relevant in the completion of a project.
• Extensive use of GCOMMS & Microsoft office.
