Customer Service - Waitrose - Birmingham
I used to work at Waitrose's for a few months before it closed. One of the things I enjoyed about working there was making sure to deal with simple and complex problems for customers. Sometimes being asked a simple question about a product or having to deal with a more complicated issue with a customer or colleague.
The key to this was to always listen carefully and appropriately to find a solution that met their needs. Overall, my experience working at Waitrose taught me the importance of empathy, patience and going beyond for customers. The skill I have inherited, I believe can be carried into any customer service facing role.
