Following on from my role as Assistant Kitchen Manager when the pubs re-opened from the first lockdown during Covid, the company offered me the position of Kitchen manager. I took this opportunity to build upon the skills I has already acquired as Assistant Kitchen manager. This gave me the opportunity to build my own team and develop not only myself but them Aswell.

• Training my team on new menu developments ensuring they are following specifications to ensure less waste and better stocks.
• Placing orders, checking/monitoring deliveries and putting invoices on the system
• Ensuring general day to day kitchen practices are running smoothly
• Doing rotas following the budgets we have been allocated and ensuring these are adhered too
• Team Training/development and site development.
• Stock management, stock counting and stock reviewing
• Keeping the kitchen within the food safety guidelines to ensure safe practice and safe food for the guests.
