About

CGI and visualisation leader with more than 20 years of experience combining creative direction, technical problem-solving, product science and team leadership. During 17 years at P&G/Gillette, progressed from developing instrumentation and imaging systems within Mechanistic Understanding to leading the Visualisation Team for several years and serving as a Group Head on the extended leadership team. Experienced in setting visual direction, guiding multidisciplinary specialists, improving how complex assets are developed and delivered, and maintaining both creative quality and technical accuracy for global brands.

Experience

Founder & Creative Director at BROWN BEAR PRODUCTIONS LTD (Present)

Independent CGI, product visualisation and demonstration studio delivering technically accurate creative assets for brands and agencies across advertising, retail, social and digital-out-of-home channels.

  • Lead projects from initial brief and creative development through technical problem-solving, production, client review and final delivery.
  • Create product CGI, animation, anamorphic digital-out-of-home content and physical demonstrations for advertising, launch, retail and social channels.
  • Delivered work associated with brands including Gillette, Braun, King C. Gillette, Versace, Pepsi, Visa, De Beers, Coleman, Aussie and Viakal.
  • Combine engineering understanding, prototyping and visual storytelling to explain product mechanisms and performance—not simply produce aesthetic imagery.
  • Built a responsive specialist model that provides clients with direct access to senior technical and creative expertise throughout delivery.

Inventor & Product Developer — Passion Project at DOCKSY (Present)

Self-initiated passion project used to explore the complete journey from identifying a niche consumer problem through engineering, intellectual property, branding, social content and market launch.

  • Identified an unmet problem in marine cup holders and created a modular insert that secures different drinks containers in demanding on-water conditions.
  • Developed the product through CAD, rapid prototyping, material testing, design iteration and real-world trials across the UK, US and Bermuda.
  • Filed a UK patent application covering the insert body and removable flexible gripping modules; created the Docksy brand and CupLock technology proposition.
  • Established the direct-to-consumer proposition, including Shopify website, packaging, instructions, pricing, social content, launch materials and fulfilment planning.

Visualisation Leadership, Product Demonstration & Creative Technology at P&G / GILLETTE

Progressed from technical product-performance research into leadership of a global visualisation capability, while retaining a detailed understanding of the science, engineering and claims behind every asset.

  • Began within the Mechanistic Understanding team, developing bespoke instrumentation, imaging systems and experimental methods used to measure razor and grooming-product performance.
  • Converted technical findings into increasingly visual demonstrations that made complex mechanisms, performance differences and consumer benefits clear to non-specialist audiences.
  • Ultimately led the Visualisation Team for several years, setting direction and delivering high-profile communication across Gillette and Venus programmes worldwide.
  • Served as a Group Head on Gillette's extended leadership team, contributing beyond the immediate visualisation remit to wider organisational direction and decision-making.
  • Supported—and frequently advised—teams across other P&G brands including Braun, Tide and Oral-B, applying demonstration and visualisation expertise beyond the grooming category.
  • Media trained and a regular presenter at P&G R&D press tours, explaining product science, technology and performance clearly to journalists and external audiences.
  • Explored and introduced emerging technologies for product communication, including VR/XR, holographic presentation, 3D motion capture, CGI, animation and interactive experiences.
  • Designed physical demonstration rigs and presentation experiences used to support product claims, launches, retailer meetings, consumer communication and senior leadership events.
  • Partnered with R&D, design, engineering, marketing, insights, legal, claims, sales and agencies to ensure every communication was scientifically accurate, visually compelling and commercially useful.
  • Became a recognised global grooming demonstration expert, trusted to shape technically accurate and compelling product-performance communication for senior internal and external audiences.
