I completed my regional work at Mackays South Davidson Banana Farm in Tully North Queensland for my second year working Visa. My Job role with the company was "Bagging" Bananas. This involved operating a tractor / bagging machine and preparing and pruning bananas to help their growth before they are picked and packed.

My job role was to ensure the fruit had the best environment to grow. Banana farming was a physical job role and taught be skills I never thought I would learn. I was paid per "Bag" that I attached to each tree or bunch of Bananas, so this gave me motivation and taught to me set my own targets and goals, which I regularly achieved.

I stayed working at the farm longer than was necessary and saved money before travelling to Perth
