• Conducted around 14 sight tests on people of all age groups as well as one emergency appointment for someone who was seeing sudden flashes and floaters
• Instructed novices on how to insert and remove soft contact lenses as well as compliance information
• When not testing patients involved in duties on the shop floor which include: concern handlings, ordering contact lenses, dispensing, adjustments, repairs, pre screening
• Completed stage one visit one assessment where I obtained 9 of the 12 competencies on November 21st 2025
• Paid £4,500 up front for college fees
• Been registered on the scheme of registration since 10/09/2025

• Conducted pre-screening tests on most patients

• Managed clerical duties, including organizing patient record cards
• Performed cash-up for the practice on two occasions
• Assisted in training new optical assistants during my final month
