uilding networks on behalf of BT and Gigaclear around rural areas including Buckinghamshire, Aston and Shipston underground (PIA) and overhead.
Splicing cable from 12 fibre all the way up to 144 fibre into tennio’s and splicing up to 144 splices following splicing matrix to ensure correct cable is spliced and light is pushed through to activate correct networks, then mounting on mobra arms to make the production complete and smart.
Testing upon completion of networks such as MST and OTE, problem solving when there is an issue or break on the network using OTDR.
Supervising contractors that work on our network, making sure all work and procedures are correctly applied and inspecting completed works to make sure they are up to standards.
Overlooking routes with cable gangs test network plan for blockages to make sure our route is clear (route planning)
On completion of network there is a full handover to the customer where documentation is sent verifying the correct distance.
