About

As an Area Manager in Amazon Logistics, I have had the opportunity to work on various improvement projects for my assigned warehouse and the region. Here, I discovered a passion for continuous improvement and project work. I had been sharpening my data skills to make data driven decisions and use visualisation techniques to propose changes to stakeholders. I am eager to apply my skills to a new role where I can continue to refine and improve my skills.

Amazon Logistics

Area Manager (Feb 22 – present)

In this multifaceted role, I am responsible for overseeing comprehensive warehouse logistics operations. My responsibilities include implementing new processes, using data to make informed decisions, managing budgets, ensuring KPIs are met, coordinating with third-party companies, and serving as a line manager to multiple employees.
Continuous improvement projects I have worked on:
As Amazon shifted to a more cost effective approach, I played a key part in deep diving into all causes of lost packages. As a team we created improvement plans for the region and created root cause analysis templates for sites who failed the target.
I have played a vital role in propsals for investment into mechanism improvements, for this I used my Six Sigma experience. We improved the same day parcel sortation and layout of the warehouse to improve efficiency, costs and safety.

Managed teams of 80+ associates and 5 supervisors.

Liasing with delivery companies and internal stakeholders.
