Daniel Macleod

Marine Engineer who has sailed on offshore stand-by/supply vessels, cruise ships and currently working on passenger ferries in the Irish Sea. I am looking to gain employment offshore in the Oil and Gas Industry or Renewable Energy Sector, but open to any opportunity that arises. I am a hard working, dedicated and eager to learn individual who loves to get stuck in and learn new skills every day.

I currently work for Stena Line Ferries sailing as 3rd/4th Engineer. Prior to this, I sailed with Holland America Line as 3rd Engineer, on cruise ships around America, Canada and South America from 2022-2024. My first job as a qualified engineer was with Vroon Offshore Services, sailing as 3rd Engineer onboard an Offshore Standby/Supply Vessel from 2021-2022.

I studied for my cadetship at the City of Glasgow Riverside College, qualifying with an Unlimited III/01 OOW Certificate of Competency in 2021. Prior to my cadetship, I studied at the Lews Castle College in Stornoway, gaining an National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
