I’m a motivated and detail oriented individual currently finishing my Level 3 AAT qualification, having already completed Level 2. I’ve always had a strong head for numbers shown by achieving a grade 8 in GCSE Maths. I recently gained hands on experience in accounting by volunteering at a local charity called Boiler House Spaces.

I helped with bookkeeping, invoice tracking, and managing expenses. It gave me a realistic taste of how working in finance seems like and confirmed that this is the career path I want to pursue.

Before that, I worked as a Shift Manager at Joe & The Juice and as a Front of House Team Member at Buns From Home. Both roles taught me how to stay organised under pressure, how to lead a team, and handle financial responsibilities like end of day reconciliations and cash handling. I developed great communication skills and learned the value of being efficient, reliable, and detail focused.

Now I’m looking to take the next step in my career by joining a trainee accounting role where I can continue to learn, grow, and contribute to a team while working towards a Level 4 accounting qualification in the near future.
