About

I am a caring, reliable, and motivated individual with a strong passion for sport and fitness. I have completed Sport and Fitness Levels 3, 4, and 5, and I am eager to continue progressing towards Level 6 to further develop my knowledge and skills within the industry. Alongside this, I completed a Level 1 qualification in Painting and Decorating at college and gained six weeks of practical experience with Alexander Decorators through a work-based course placement.

I have a genuine interest in helping others improve their health, wellbeing, and confidence, and I am committed to building a successful career in the sport and fitness sector. I am hardworking, enthusiastic, and always willing to learn and develop both personally and professionally.

Experience

Placement - Alexander Decorators

(2022-04 - 2022-05)

During my six week placement with Alexander Decorators I gained hands on experience working alongside professional decorators in their working environments. I was given a taste of many trades including painting, brick laying, joinery, and scaffolding. I also completed emergency first aid training which helped me gain confidence when working.

This placement helped me improve my practical skills, communication, teamwork and my understanding of workplace expectations whilst I was building my confidence and work ethic.

Assistant/Leading Coach

(2026-01)

At the start of the year I was given the opportunity to work with a class of 15 children to teach them some sports and fitness. Over the course of this time I have had to create my own programme that is tailored to the needs of the children – the programme includes different warm up exercises, drills and games that one of my peers and I teach the children. Having the opportunity to act as both the lead and assistant coach has helped me advance on my leadership and confidence skills as I not only lead the activities but also provide a positive example and motivate the children.

As I have had to create the programme I have developed stronger time management and communication skills to ensure that the activities are suitable for the group.
