About

I hold a full, clean UK driving licence, allowing me to travel independently to different work locations. I am a motivated, reliable and hardworking Level 3 Carpentry student at Dudley College, having successfully completed and passed my Level 2 Carpentry qualification. I am eager to secure a carpentry apprenticeship or trainee position within the construction industry, where I can further develop my practical skills, gain valuable on-site experience and contribute positively to a professional team.

I take pride in completing work to a high standard, following instructions carefully and maintaining excellent health and safety practices.

I have played football for over ten years, which has helped me develop strong teamwork, discipline, dedication and a positive work ethic. During this time, I have won several trophies, demonstrating my commitment, determination and consistency.

I also have a strong interest in fitness and regularly work on maintaining my physical strength and endurance, which supports my ability to carry out physically demanding construction work.

Experience

Panel Factory – Work Experience Placement

During my placement at a panel factory, I gained valuable hands-on experience in a professional working environment. I assisted with fitting worktops, assembling stud walls and completing practical tasks alongside experienced team members. I developed my ability to follow instructions carefully, work accurately and maintain a safe and organised working environment.

This experience helped me improve my practical skills, teamwork and understanding of health and safety within the construction industry. It also strengthened my interest in pursuing a career in carpentry.
