I have volunteered for a few years at my local youth club and also briefly for a local charity, Newcastle Community Outreach. I also worked as a Festival assistant for Peckham24 and have invigilated at the gallery Seen Fifteen. In my spare time I meet friends, go to music concerts, the theatre, art galleries, coffee shops and restaurants.
I enjoy cooking at home, learning random skills and designing my own t-shirts. I am also an artist that makes photographic work on ‘post-conflict’ Northern Ireland.
I have 9 years of experience working in customer-service jobs. I’m well-versed in maintaining a professional and calm demeanour while operating in a challenging and fast-paced environment. I work effectively as part of a team or individually to meet high standards, even when facing challenges, e.g. reduced staff or dealing with difficult customers.
I possess good analytical and observational skills that allow me to move efficiently from task to task, depending on the greatest need. I always strive to ensure I have a positive attitude, that customers’ expectations are met and that a relaxed atmosphere is created for myself and my team.
