During my time at the gym, I supported staff with day to day, including welcoming members, assisting with basic enquiries, and helping to maintain a clean and safe environment. I observed and learnt how fitness professionals interact with clients provide guidance on equipment, and promote healthy lifestyles This experience helped me improve my communication and teamwork skills, as I worked alongside staff and interacted with a variety of gym members. I also developed a stronger sense of responsibility and professionalism by following health and safety procedures and ensuring equipment was used and stored correctly Overall my work experience at the gym was beneficial and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and develop skills that will support me in my future education and career that are also used in daily life
