I am a passionate and hardworking person, I complete all tasks efficiently and in the time given. I have completed a week of work experience with a veterinary practice, encouraging my work ethic and teaching me communication skills as well as improving my confidence and allowing me to prove my ability to be punctual and hardworking. I am currently studying and completing my GCSE's however am looking for part time work to continue to experience different working environments and teams.

Work Experience at Rackheath Vets (2025-07 – 2025-07)

Completing my work experience at a veterinary practice allowed me to engage in professional work and improve my understanding of many soft skills such as communication, organisation, team work, punctuality and adaptability.

• During this week I shadowed veterinary consultations, and communicated with the customers. I was lucky to shadow administrative staff as well as veterinary nurses which showed me the variation within workplaces.
• This allowed me to understand the need for adaptability within teams, to ensure the task was completed efficiently and effectively, no matter what the task was. It helped me learn how important it is to work in a team and listen to each other to therefore perform my role within a team to the best of my ability.
