About
Having recently completed the Electrical Installation Course at Lincoln College, I am now enrolled in an Aerospace Engineering course. This journey of learning and personal development is one that I am deeply committed to, and I am excited about the opportunities it will bring. In addition to the above, I have experience working both independently and as part of a team, and I excel at both.
I have played Rugby every week since the age of 5, at one point becoming the team captain for a short while before handing it over. I have recently joined a football team, which has developed my sense of commitment, my communication skills, and my ability and willingness to work and lead in a team, even in a stressful, fast-paced environment. Throughout my education and career, I have demonstrated that I am a hardworking, 100% committed individual.
My reliability, organisation, and attention to detail, coupled with a flexible approach to working hours, make me a dependable and dedicated individual. My three-year stint with the Army Cadets during the COVID years is a testament to my discipline and dedication.
Experience
Shift Manager at Greggs (2026-01 – Present)
My current role is that of a shift manager, running a small team to provide quality service and ensure the Greggs standard is met, whether that is admin and stock counting or being a friendly face. I work across the shop, from making sandwiches to baking pastries, or even just serving at a till. I must be flexible at all times to be where I am needed and when. I am also entrusted with opening and closing the store, from cash counting to store layout.
Crew Member at McDonald's Sleaford (2022-10 – 2024-04)
This role involves working as a team. Serving customers, using a till, and accepting credit card and cash payments. In addition to working in the kitchen to ensure all food is hot and fresh for our customers, I have been involved in drive-through processing, handling customer orders, and processing payments.
My role also involves restocking products when necessary and performing maintenance on specific pieces of equipment. I have demonstrated that I am a quick learner and a flexible team member, and I am well-liked by the regulars who have come to know me as a friendly face. I was set to be a crew trainer before leaving and have logged my hours there, becoming a key member of the team.
Bartender/Entertainment at Gutterball (2025-08 – 2026-04)
My role at Gutterball was as a Bartender, handling stock management, including receiving new stock and plating it into set areas, serving high-standard drinks and cocktails, and usually running the bar either by myself or as part of a team. I was entrusted with ID checks and selling and upselling drinks. I have also handled several closings, where we were entrusted with closing down the venue to a high standard: cleaning, restocking, and checking all lanes, with future training in place, including stock counts, finance, and more.
Community First Aider (CFA) at St John Ambulance (2025-09 – Present)
I also Volunteer with St John as a CFA, providing world class first aid, at events and functions; when called upon, I had to do training in my own time for this and have a keen interest in the world of medicine; I am trained within my scope of practice to attend and aid at scene of emergency from wound bandaging, emergency care and identify symptoms to just talking and giving advice to those in need.
