As a mentor, my role was to provide support to vulnerable young adults between the ages of 14 and 19. Throughout my time there I exhibited patience and teamwork, as well as flexibility to take on a multitude of tasks from supporting with cooking and life skills, to escorting on trips. I also supported the young adults both emotionally and physically to promote independence and wellbeing.

In addition, I also played an instrumental role in establishing the Young Ones Social Club in which people aged between 14 and 25 could attend and develop social skills in a safe, welcoming place. This was a huge passion of mine as there appeared to be a severe lack of opportunities to enhance these skills for those over the age of 18.
