Started as stage 1 contractor, offered permanent contract after 2 weeks. Duties included fitting bulkheads, gyros, cutting and fitting mouldings, installing metal work, topping the boat, rubbing bands, silicone sealing and laminating.

Subcontracting work initially through Recruit Easy, then directly to Nevada Construction. Working mainly in the hospital but also on Marine Biology labs and Land Registry office.

Setting up new installations for the Wren kitchen showroom at Marsh Mills Plymouth. Reading floor plans, setting up units and appliances in the right place for later fitting.
Contractor - Bathing Platform Fitter at Princess Yachts (West Coast Marine) (2018-01 – 2018-06)
Contractor fitting out bathing platforms and snagging. Also worked on other marine products including fishing boats, ribs, speedboats and semi-submersible. Left due to poor organization despite enjoying the work.

Primarily as a deck fitter, scribing, gluing and vacuum fitting the teak to the boat. Fitting of hatches, gas rams, seals, windows and other surrounding fixtures and fittings.
Senior Operator / Quality Assurance Assistant at D.A Watsons Teak Products (2015-04 – 2016-09)
Asked by owner to return on higher wage to continue routing but also help struggling departments and pick up on quality issues. Working in finishing department, relaying problems to project manager and finding solutions.
Multi-Trade Operator at Pipex (2014-10 – 2014-12)
Short term agency contract, originally as laminator but moved throughout company as needed. Work ranged from painting and sanding of handrails, forming fittings on hydraulic press, laminating pipes for oil rigs and quality checking.
Routing Operator / Multi-Trade Technician at D.A Watsons Teak Products (2011-03 – 2014-10)
Primarily routing products to their final shape ensuring quality fit in side decks department. Also undertook other roles including laying up, cleaning up (sanding between planking), caulking, resining, and finishing to ensure product met deadline dates. Made bespoke wooden products for premium customers.
